Just got back from West Virginia for a weekend on the white water. 6 of us headed out on the river in Canoes. Ahead of us were class 1 – 3 rapids and a whole lot of rain. 2 of the 3 canoes flipped with all there gear floating down the river. The last mile down the river it poured rain so hard that we could barley see in front of us. When we pulled out of the river at the out fitter we scattered our numerous dry bags out on the lawn. There must have been a dozen different style of the traditional dry bag. All of the gear was wet, the dry bags had leaked in one form or another. The only thing that was still completely dry were the 3 DryCASE’s that I had my flip video, Nikon Cool Pix Digital Camera and iPhone in. After three days down the river in various wet and rough conditions the DryCASE’s were still completely vacuum sealed and dry. Here’s a photo of the DryCASE on my Canoe at the beginning of the trip.
