Sue Stock from News and Obserer’s business section wrote this week about the DryCase and the new DryCase for the iPad. She wrote that DryCorp is anticipating a need by already taking pre-orders for our new DryCase. The blog explains that we are branching out from small electronic devices and now the DryCase is also for the iPad, Kindles, and other tablet-type electronic readers. Thanks to DryCase now we won’t just be seeing iPods and cameras in the pool this summer, but iPads too!

What do broken-limb cases and iPhones have in common? Neither should go in the water- at least not until a Wilmington company’s products came on the scene.
That company of-course is DryCorp, and the joke was the opener to the DryCase’s first news paper debut this week in StarNews. The article included a photo of the DryCase testing process, explained how the idea originated, and spoke about the new DryCase for the iPad or Kindle.
Stand Up Paddling with you iPhone, iPod or MP3 player just got a lot better. I just demoed the brand new DryCASE Waist Band prototype, I must say I’m very happy with it. It’s made of a special stretch neoprene Velcro material the is very comfortable and secure. Check out the demo video here http://www.youtube.com/user/DryCase#p/a/u/0/i2sHL4VxfCc . January 2010 dryCASE headed to Greensboro, NC to show off our new product. The boat show was a ton of fun, we met some great people, and got some people really interested in the new dryCASE. Check out three kids that bought the dryCASE and came running back to the booth later wanting to test it in the water. Look at the video below.
Dry Corp made its way down to Orlando, FL this year and was met with enthusiasm and awe of the new dryCASE. Many fans came by the chat, and new fans were quickly made as they check us out. Paddle boarders, surfers, wake boarders all stopped by to check out the product. Check out the video we took of one pleased fan wanting to spread the word.
Waterproof iPhone Bike Mount Case with Everytrail. Testing the new EveryTrail version 3 iPhone app on my mountain bike with my DryCASE waterproof iphone bike mount. Very nice sunny clear cool Xmas Eve day. I left the beach around 1pm and rode off into the UNCW woods. I really like how you can see a birds eye view of yourself in real time with the new App update. That helped my from doubling up my trail riding on the mostly unmarked trails in the woods. Check out the waterproof iphone bike mount at www.drycase.com , it will let your take everytrail … everywhere!
Waterproof iPhone Case for spearfishing and sea kayaking;
I took my ocean kayak out into the Atlantic Ocean from access 18 at Wrightsville Beach and went into the wind (SW @ 10MPH) towards the south end to spearfish. I took my iPhone and strapped it to the middle console of my Kayak using my DryCASE Waterproof iPhone case (www.drycase.com) . The DryCASE allowed me to keep up with my iPhone apps checking updated weather conditions, as well as my time and the tides. The water visibilty was 15 feet plus and conditions we very good for diving. After about 2 hours diving in 60 degree water I got cold and kayaked back .
