This upcoming weekend is The National Pediatric Cancer Foundation’sGrand Slam Fishing Tournament at The Vinoy Renaissance St. Petersburg Resort.
The Grand Slam Fishing Tournament is the premier fishing tournament in the state of Florida hosted on Florida's beautiful west coast featuring two full days of inshore fishing for redfish, snook, and trout and has become the favorite event among master fishermen and our major partners. Highlights of this year's event are the Kids Fishing Derby presented by the Yerrid Foundation and the Fishermen's Ball presented by Bridgestone. The Kids Derby is a day of fun for pediatric cancer patients and their family and friends where they'll enjoy time away from the hospital and their treatments. The Fishermen's Ball is a resort casual dinner with high-end auctions bringing together tournament master fisherman and our major partners to support our mission of funding research to find a cure for childhood cancer.
