DryCase helps send UNCW Surf Team to Regional Competition

On Friday, April 1st, the UNCW Surf Team is traveling to New Smyrna Beach, Florida to compete for the East Coast Collegiate Title. UNCW has won the title multiple times, but in the previous year was dethroned by the University of North Florida. The team consists of captain Shane Burn, Justin Parr, Michael Casper, Evan Barton, Conner Lester, Cameron Paul, and Airlie Pickett. Everyone has been performing at a high level leading up to the competition and are poised to retake the East Coast Title. Their competition days consists of hanging out on the beach all day long (which doesn’t sound bad) and surfing heats throughout the day. Team members use DryCase backpacks as their go-to to keep sand and water from their belongings while spending the day on the beach. If the team wins the Regional competition, they then qualify for National’s, which will be held in California this summer. The team appreciates the continued support from DryCase and hopes to bring home the gold back to Wilmington!
