The Carolina Cup 2015

This previous weekend the DryCase Team was all set up to compete in the Carolina Cup 2015 SUP Paddleboard race! The Carolina Cup 2015, running from April 22-26th, had elite racers come from all over the country to compete here in our own backyard at Wrightsville Beach, NC! The DryCase team had a strong showing in the Harbor Island 3.5 mile race. Travis Beyerl finished 1stin the unlimited prone division, smoking the pack with the next racer finishing 10 minutes behind him. Our own intern Zach Valenti placed 1stin the SUP Surf Division with the runner up finishing 9 minutes behind him. With such a huge field of racers, our team went 2/2 on finishing in 1st place in their respective divisions. Zach had his Dryvibes waterproof speaker blasting music along with the whole race, helping him stay in the zone as he paddled to the finish. With DryCases protecting all of our team’s phones, they were worry free about their tech during the race. With a great showing in the water and in the expo, Carolina Cup 2015 was a huge success!
